Covent Garden Strings at The Crowne Plaza
This summer 2010, Covent Garden Strings are enjoying our residency at The Crowne Plaza St James Hotel
You can come and hear us perform here every Saturday evening from late May to early September.

The Opera Show
Also at the hotel, Covent Garden Strings are joined by our opera singing friends for four nights only to perform much loved excerpts from the operatic and classical repetoires. This will take place in the delightfully intimate surroundings of Courtyard 51. Guests will enjoy al fresco dining whilst being regaled with arias from La traviata, Carmen, Nabucco and more. Musicians and singers will perform from the balconies and wander the courtyard in a magical night that will appeal to all. Come and book a table for this very special event which takes place on the 30th &31st July and the 20th and 21st of August.

Bits and Bobs
We've had some very exciting gigs and performances recently, including playing for the tennis stars of Wimbledon, the Prime Minister of India and performing at the birthday party of music legend Ravi Shankar. Individually, members of Covent Garden Strings have had a very busy time of it, performing with Snow Patrol, Gorillaz and accompanying the finalists of Britain's Got Talent!
